After 27 hours of play.
When I first started to play I really enjoyed it. It seemed like a fallout in space. Sadly though it started to go down hill very quickly. I found myself trying to rush through the game. I never did that on any of the fallout games I've played in the past. Now i'm so bored I just uninstalled the game.
I didn't know what I was doing most of the time. Trying to build the ships was painful. What do I do with all this stuff I have? How do I upgrade my weapons? LOAD....LOAD.....LOAD.... Every second seems like I am loading again.
I'm glad I purchased this at a discount. If it were full price I might feel buyers remorse. I happy I gave it a try. Its just not for me.
So if you are thinking about buying it. Maybe wait until it goes on a huge sale.
Just my opinion.

Well obviously wait for a sale...:steamhappy:

But rushing through is the worst way to play a game. It on you if you didn't stop and smell the roses.

I should have put " Just my opinion" Oh wait I did. I'm just reaching out to the people who might be in the same boat I was.
And, i'm not sure how having a better PC will make the loading screens go away. Might you enlighten me?

They load so fast you barely notice them

I agree it does load very fast. It just seems to remove me from the experience. Maybe its just one of many things that adds up making it not enjoyable for "ME".

Dont listen to the toxic posisitivty, they attack anyone that slightly criticizes the game.

What you described is what we call the honeymoon phase. its sets in around the 20-40 hours mark, then the emotional damage kicks in.

Also welcome to the Starfield forum!

It takes nearly 100h to learn (being at ease with) a Bethesda's game ... .

There are many ways to play this game.

And if you add mods to bonify what you like, lol ... , you end up like me with 3k hours ... !!!

Rushing through the game, now wonder.

No offense intended but practice is what we all do in all games. Besides people complain when games are too easy. I had to go through a learning curve on ship building now it's an easy part of the game for me.

As for loading screens I just don't see the issue unless one does not want any in their game which is fine so I'd say to those folks this game isn't for them. Loading screen are fast in this game and I do not feel like there are too many. But if one does not want them then one is too many.

That's fine as well. I paid full price and if I had to I'd do so again. Hope you find a game you like. Enjoy :)

It's no worse than other games.... If you use fast travel it does seem to amplify it but fast travel is optional for the most part.

---

Space is NOT the final frontier, it's the void you cross to get there.
Fast travel is like that, it fills a void you create.

Hate to beat a dead horse here but.... We also are trying to give those that may read this information from those that gave it a good try. Dismissing the information that is counter to your position like some here is what is toxic.

See. This is why we cant have nice things :(

I did not dismiss anyone. I'm glad you like the game.
I should have never posted an opinion on this game.

Spot on. Trying to pin all the chaos on fans who play the game and post is a bit of an absurd tactic. And no I am not talking about your post OP.
